Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has signed a five-year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Adani Green Energy worth Rs 1,381 crore. The agreement includes SWREL’s first purchase order under the partnership, marking one of the company’s largest domestic EPC wins this fiscal.

The order covers a Balance of System (BOS) package for three solar power projects at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. The package includes supply of goods and onsite services.

Sterling and Wilson’s order inflows cross Rs 6,450 crore

With the latest win, SWREL’s total order inflows for the current fiscal have crossed Rs 6,450 crore, Thakur added, noting that the company’s pipeline remains robust.

SWREL is already executing close to 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region, with around 5 GW scheduled for completion in this fiscal. The new contract adds another 1 GW of capacity to its ongoing portfolio.
