Bristol Myers Squibb on Tuesday announced the official opening of a new facility in Hyderabad. The state-of-the-art site will expand the company’s global drug development and IT & digital capabilities and is expected to be home to over 1,500 employees.
According to the company’s press statement, the new site expands Bristol Myers Squibb’s global footprint and will serve as an innovation hub, as the company writes the next chapter in its history. The company has invested over $100 million in the creation of this cutting-edge facility.
The facility was officially opened in the presence of the Honorable Minister for Industries & Information Technology of Telangana, D Sridhar Babu. Dr. Christopher Boerner, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer, Bristol Myers Squibb and Greg Meyers, Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Bristol Myers Squibb, as well as several members of the Bristol Myers Squibb global and Hyderabad leadership teams were present at the ribbon cutting event.
