The integrated sustainability tech platform TapFin has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the EV Powertrain Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), aiming to tackle challenges in EV financing and develop innovative solutions to make electric vehicle ownership more accessible while exploring commercially viable and sustainable use cases for electric vehicle deployment.

Through this partnership, TapFin and IIT Bombay seek to establish a dynamic ecosystem that connects academia and industry by promoting knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and the cultivation of industry-relevant skills.
Under the MoU, TapFin and IIT Bombay will collaborate on joint research and knowledge sharing within the electric vehicle ecosystem, aiming to develop industry-ready solutions. This partnership will provide IIT Bombay students with greater exposure to industry trends and challenges, allowing them to engage in real-world projects that meet industry needs. Meanwhile, TapFin will utilize IIT Bombay’s academic expertise to enhance its innovations and offerings for business stakeholders in the electric vehicle sector. Additionally, TapFin will take part in IIT Bombay’s annual EV Career Day, giving students insight into real-world industry challenges and recruitment opportunities.
