The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) concluded its 16th edition of ‘Vyapar – Driving Success, Together’, in Delhi. The event brought together senior bureaucrats from the Delhi administration and ministries, eminent leaders from the automobile industry and over 150 members of FADA.
Kailash Gahlot, Cabinet Minister of Administrative Reforms, Transport, Home Department, Women & Child Development and Information & Technology, Govt of NCT of Delhi, inaugurated the event, alongside industry dignitaries, Manish Raj Singhania, President, FADA, and Garima Misra, Chairperson – FADA Delhi.
The event featured engaging panel discussions on ease of doing business. Additionally, there was a keynote address on ‘Business Opportunity with Opening of RVSF & ATS’, followed by a Fireside Chat on Automotive Skilling with Vinkesh Gulati, Chairman – FADA Academy & Research and Vice President – ASDC.
Kailash Gahlot said that the association feels like an integral part of the family, consistently offering support and demonstrating dedication to the dynamic business environment. He emphasised on the significant contributions made to the Delhi transport industry, highlighting the favourable business environment fostered by the Delhi government in the region.
He further highlighted that the government has successfully transitioned over 45 services to a faceless mode out of 47, resulting in more than 53 lakh registrations in the past 2 years. He believes that this achievement greatly enhances the ownership experience for consumers. Commending FADA’s vision to support state ITIs in skilling manpower, he proposed initiating these efforts from local unorganised service stations to empower the unskilled workforce of the nation.
Manish Raj Singhania added, “Hosting the 16th edition of ‘Vyapar in Delhi’ has been a privilege. The turnout reflects Delhi’s importance in the Indian automotive retail industry. We urge all members to continue with same commitment of exemplary service, ensuring business vitality. FADA remains dedicated to supporting members, promoting skills, and fostering collaboration. FADA will collaborate with state-operated ITIs to provide them with the necessary resources to bring out skilled manpower for the automobile industry.”
Garima Misra said, “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response of Vyapar in Delhi. Through dialogues and knowledge-sharing, we aim to drive growth and support the government’s vision of transforming urban transportation.”
