Only Indian airport to receive recognition
In the Prix Versailles 2023 global assessment, overseen by the esteemed fashion designer Elie Saab, Bengaluru airport stood out as the only Indian airport to receive recognition. This underscores its commitment to exceptional design and architecture at the international level.
The Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) said that the airport is spread across an area of 255,661 square metres. It is built on four core principles: leading in technology, integrating a garden terminal, championing environmental and ecological responsibility, and showcasing the rich heritage and culture of Karnataka.
