1The job: I love working with a young and energetic team at ixigo and the fact that we build or conceptualise something new practically every day. I?m primarily responsible for working both on the product road map and marketing levers to create buzz around ixigo. It is a role of high responsibility that involves making timely strategic decisions on the basis of data, research and consumer feedback, and this is what gives me the ?high?. Being such a young team, we never miss out on the chance to celebrate our small and big successes and very frequently go out for a game of bowling, to grab a nice brunch or just have some beer!
2The weekdays: My day starts around 6:30 am, when I take my Golden Retriever out for some run and fun! I then catch up on news and emails on my mobile and head to office. On most days, I?m amongst the first few to reach office as I like to check my mailbox in peace, do up the list for the day and then start with team meetings. I like to finish early and have my team and me leaving office latest by 7 pm, so I can reach home and catch up on a few games of badminton or squash with my neighborhood buddies. Intense gaming, some good home-cooked food and playing with my little son and my dog take up my evening. I hit the bed around 11 pm with a book in hand or flipping through my mobile.
3The weekend: Weekends bring out my ?lazy? side and I prefer to take things at a slow pace. The day starts at around 8 am and the morning is spent between tea, newspapers and hitting the gym for a while. If I don?t grab brunch at a quaint caf? outside, I prefer heading home for a sumptuous English spread. The rest of the day is usually spent briefly catching up on any pending work, catching up with friends or socialising over a game of poker. I love to try out new places for food and that?s usually high on the agenda every weekend.
4The toys: Earlier, I was addicted to my iPad and now it?s my new Android phone with some very cool features and handy apps that keeps me glued. Since I like listening to music, I absolutely love my Bose dock and Jawbone Bluetooth speakers.
5The logos: Most often, I am seen in Nautica, Superdry, FCUK and Polo for casual wear and a Kazo, Hugo Boss or Zara for formal occasions, accessorised with neck ties and cravats. I love perfumes, my favourite ones being Herm?s and Calvin Klein.
