Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde along with a delegation will visit Sweden and Italy from June 20-24, as part of efforts to woo foreign players to invest in the Indian power sector.
According to an official statement issued on Saturday, Shinde would visit Sweden and Italy from June 20 – 24 to promote cooperation in power sector with the two countries as well as attract foreign investors.
Shinde would meet Swedish minister of enterprise and energy and communications Maud Olofsson. Shinde would also address members of the Swedish Trade Council on various reforms initiatives and investment opportunities in the Indian power sector.
