One of the leading computer peripherals company Zebronics

unveiled its latest product the ZebStation digital music system recently and we got in an early review unit. I must say that the build quality of ZebStation music system is amazing and my appreciation goes to Zebronics for coming up with such a decent build and design.

The ZebStation is a 2.0 speaker system in a sleek and elegant looking body, which makes it perfect to use as bookshelf speakers or as a nightstand speaker. The player is truly plug and play and one can start using it as soon as it is connected to power. Adding to the convenience, the ZebStation has front slots for a USB/SD/MMC card and USB. With the remote provided with this box, you can use remote control functions like standby, mute, reset, input selection, USB SD/MMC player, EQ mode, Bass, treble and also adjust volume controls. The overall look of the system is very neat and an LED display just adds more to the stunning look at the front with wooden enclosure.

The system is a 3-inch x 2 magnetically shielded driver unit with an optical power output of 15w+15w RMS power. The Zebronics ZebStation also has a built in FM radio receiver with the ability to preset and store stations of your choice. An attractive soft-glow display tells you the station tuned (when in FM mode) or the track being played (when in MP3 player mode).

The audio quality impressed us pretty much except for the lacking bass effect. The heavy bass songs rattled the speakers since there is no sub woofer to amplify thumping bass drops.

At a price point of under Rs 2,000, the ZebStation is a complete music system solution, which not just looks good, but also performs at par.
