To help identify hospitals and collect information regarding various charges imposed by them on medical procedures, Irda has started a process to provide unique identity numbers to hospitals. ?We are working with national accreditation agencies to uniquely identify hospitals, which will involve giving them identity numbers that will be integrated with the pin code of the area and the name of hospitals,? said Irda chairman TS Vijayan.
?Rate hike possible, inflation could ease?
BofA ML on Monday said it expects RBI to hike its repo rate in the next policy to combat inflation, which may ease in the second half next year. BofA ML said RBI will continue with its fight against inflation and hike the repo rate by 0.25% in December.
