Announcing a New Year bonanza for Punjab roadways employees, the Punjab government on Tuesday issued instructions to complete the promotion cases of Roadways employees by January 31. Master Mohan Lal, transport minister Punjab, said that the state government was fully committed to providing better transport amenities to the public, and better incentives to the employees.
The transport minister also assured that the pending cases, of providing jobs on compassionate grounds to the beneficiaries of deceased employees, would also be cleared very soon. The arrears of pending overtime of the employees would also be released as early as possible, he added.
Mohan Lal also asked the union leaders to work with zeal and honesty so that the Punjab Roadways could come out of loses.
The delegation thanked that minister for agreeing to their demands and assured that they would persuade the employees to continue their hard work.
