The latest report of Ficci has come up with startling revelation that many industrialists don?t find Punjab as an investment destination jolting the state government?s claims which gives rosy picture of the state to attract large industrial houses.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) has jointly conducted the study with Konard Adenaeur Foundation (KAF) on ?State Level Reforms-Increasing Investment in Punjab?. As a part of the study the research team conducted a field investigation and questionnaire survey, the study reported that as many as 62 percent of the respondents took a pessimistic view of Punjab as an investment destination. Only 9 % of the participating companies said that they were optimistic about Punjab while 29 % took the neutral stand on the subject.
