– My job is great: In the fast-moving world, I am witnessing the success story of Panasonic being created, and being a part of this success story gives me another kind of high.
– My most inspirational moment: When I, for the first time, shared few moments with Fumio Ohtsubo, global president, Panasonic Corporation. It was a very inspirational moment as every word he shared reflected his immense knowledge about the industry and Panasonic’s basic brand philosophy, and it was a big learning for me.
– The turning point in my career: When I joined Panasonic, it was aggressively re-entering the Indian market. With my experience and industry knowledge, I catapulted Panasonic to a position where it is among the top brands, infusing the brand with a local flavour and ensuring that its presence is felt across India. It was a major decision that I made and it turned out to be something I am very satisfied with.
– In my free time: I like reading and most of the time when I am free I read or listen to music. Right now I am reading “Managing Transitions” by William Bridges; the book talks about strategies for managing change and how to navigate the transition phase.
– My favourite social networking site: LinkedIn, the professional network website. It keeps me connected with professionals across boundaries and keeps me updated about them.
– Average number of job offers I get in a month: My existing role at Panasonic keeps me totally engrossed. I get such contentment from the work that I do, that it’s been a long while since I stopped noticing whether job offers were coming my way.
– First thing I do when I reach office: The first thing that I do is review my previous day?s work and then plan the day ahead accordingly.
