My job is great because: I work for a global leader in one of the most exciting categories today. Each day is a new one with opportunities to create and further develop a world class product which is hugely beneficial for the unbanked, as well gives the more fortunate, an innovative means to live a life full of conven-ience. To see the smile on my maid?s face when she sends her mother back in her hometown, money through our mobile wallet in a matter of minutes is truly an incredible feeling.
Most inspirational moment: Spending time in the market in Kenya, India, Senegal and seeing at the ground level how our product is really changing and improving lives of people in these countries.
First thing I do after entering the office: Have a cup of coffee. I also have a chat with my colleagues in our different global offices as their day comes to an end, to ensure that all client requirements are all under control. I do a quick check on all our social media networks to see the conversations which have happened within our communities while I slept.
The turning point in my career: Moving back to India after over a great decade in New York City in end 2002, and seeing firsthand all the changes that were happening at home was amazing. Moreover, finding a mentor in one of my assignments in India who really helped me shape up my future track has definitely proven to be a milestone in my career.

How I spend my free time: Whenever I get time over the weekend, I spend it in the kitchen whipping up dishes as well as attending cookery workshops.
