Moong dal up, sugar gram down

Moong dal prices moved up, while thoor dal, gram dal and sugar declined in the wholesale foodgrains market.

Besides, rest all other commodities remained unchanged in the market.

Thoor dal went down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,300 against the previous rate of Rs 8,400, gram dal down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 2,850 against the previous level of Rs 2,900 and sugar edged down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 2,900.

Moong dal went up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,300 against the previous rate of Rs 6,200.

Urad dal, wehat, maida and sooji remained unaltered.

Following are today’s rates per quintal: Thoor dal Rs 8,300, urad dal Rs 5,900, moong dal Rs 6,300, gram dal Rs 2,850, sugar Rs 2,900, wheat Rs 1,700, maida (90 kgs) Rs 1,550 and sooji (90 kgs) Rs 1,650.
