The contest, that aimed at scouting for young music talent from across Punjab, was announced by Idea Cellular on June 24, on the occasion of World Music Day. Auditions were held through mobile phones and candidates were judged by renowned singers, Raj Brar of Chandigarh De Nazariyan Ne Patiya from the album ?Rebirth? and Preet Harpal of Papa Kehnde Jajj Banja from the album ?
