We are currently chasing about 10-12 projects worth Rs 2,000 crore to Rs 3,000 crore. The company will pursue every business opportunity which is spotted. For instance, in the water and irrigation sector we will participate in the entire gamut of water transportation, water treatment plants, desalination project etc,” he said.

In terms of turnover, Maytas would continue to show healthy growth year after year. Two years ago, the topline of the company was Rs 400 crore and last year it was Rs 800 crore. The company takes efforts to retain talent by empowering the workforce, posting them on overseas assignments, offering good compensation package and powerful incentives. There is also a continuous assessment on employee satisfaction, Madhav said.
