In a shocking case of negligence, and Air India flight was forced to be diverted after it was found that the pilot concerned was not trained to land the aircraft in low visibility conditions. Considering that this is winter and the flight was heading for Delhi and that too in morning, how authorities ended up putting this untrained pilot in charge is truly mind-boggling especially as the consequences could have been terrible. A report said, that a Delhi bound Air India flight coming from Bhopal has been diverted to Jaipur because the pilot was not trained to land in low visibility. On Monday, most flights in Amritsar, Jammu, Srinagar and Leh were delayed by an hour or so due to unfavourable weather conditions, reports said.
