1The job: Max Bupa recently completely four successful years of business operations. I love the fact that I am associated with one of the youngest yet fastest growing health insurance brands where we have the freedom and passion to create and innovate, be it our products, services or processes.
The impact of changes is felt almost immediately which helps us understand if we are headed in the right direction.
At Max Bupa, people demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to completely own what they do. This makes it a very passionate and enthusiastic organisation.
The only challenge is that since it is a new company,
we want to experiment and do so many new things, but there is very little time.
2The weekdays: I start my day at 8:15 am. My days are usually action-packed with not a minute to breathe! But I really enjoy my day as we are constantly brainstorming and discussing many fresh ideas. My team consist of a bunch of 16 enthusiastic marketers who look at different aspects of the Max Bupa brand, like strategy, product, media planning, online, communications, etc. It?s an interesting mix of different kinds of people from different backgrounds. My day never really ends as I like to stay connected all the time.
3The weekend: I prefer to unwind on the weekends by indulging in my love for pottery, reading and cooking. These are things that I thoroughly enjoy and that help me relax
4The toys: I like to stay abreast with what?s happening around me 24/7 that?s why I can?t do without my BlackBerry and laptop. I am extremely passionate about the potter’s wheel ? it?s not a gadget but something that I just can?t do without.
5The logos: Oh, there are so many. The brands I use are Elizabeth Arden (5th Avenue); Sony Viao, Tag Heuer, Louis Vutton and Illy Coffee. A brand that I love is IKEA and I can?t wait to see it in India.
