Five big road projects would be implemented in Haryana at a total cost of Rs 2629 crore and their foundation stones would be laid by Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh in the near future. The member of Parliament from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda, who called on Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh in Delhi, urged him to lay the foundation stones of big road projects in the state and Prime Minister assured him of his visit to the state.
While giving details of these five projects, Hooda said that the Delhi-Rohtak national Highway number 10 would be six laned at a cost of Rs 486 crore. Badarpur elevated highway would be six laned at a cost of Rs 340 crore. Tenders have been invited for four laning of Rohtak-Hisar state highway at a cost of Rs 543 crore. The Rohtak-Panipat national highway number 71-A would be four laned at a costof Rs 620 crore. Similarly, Rohtak-Jhajjar-Rewari-Bawal national Highway number 71 would be four laned at a cost of Rs 640 crore.
