Indian Railways is likely to postpone financial bidding for key PPP projects again as a meeting of the empowered committee on railway PPP was inconclusive on Tuesday. The meeting was called to decide on the proposed changes in documents of four key projects of Railways ? electric and diesel locomotive units in Bihar and engine component and coach factories in West Bengal.
Before this meeting, the national transporter was to call financial bids for an electric locomotive factory at Madhepura in Bihar on July 15 and a diesel locomotive unit at Marhaura in Bihar on July 29.
