Amway India and Rajasthan Police together launched a ?safety Awareness Drive? at ?Urs 2010? here at Ajmer.

The safety drive includes Pocket Diaries containing useful information like route map, important telephone numbers, designated places for parking, rest and festival details; Posters displayed at prominent public places and information hoardings placed across the city. Chief Guest for the occasion, Sri Himmat Abhilash Tank, Additional SP, Ajmer launched the safety awareness drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Himmat Abhilash Tank, said ?safety of people at such large gatherings is of paramount importance. Many untoward incidents can be avoided if proper messaging and information are made available to the visitors, easily and in a handy manner. It is good to see the corporate sector partnering with a government agency to ensure all round safety?.

On this occasion, Sameer Singh – Additional SP, Ajmer and Sri J K Purohit ? Additional District Magistrate, Ajmer commended the efforts of Amway.

Scores of Amway distributors from Rajasthan have joined hands in this endeavor and have volunteered to distribute pamphlets to pilgrims entering Ajmer.
