Aluminium traded 0.13 per cent lower in futures trade on Tuesday after speculators offloaded their positions, taking weak cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March traded 20 paise, or 0.13 per cent lower, to Rs 115.95 per kg, with a business turnover of three lots.
The metal for delivery in February also down marginally by 10 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 115.05 per kg, with a trading volume of four lots.
Meanwhile, at the London Metal Exchange aluminium shed 0.2 per cent to USD 2,545 per tonne.
Analysts said losses in the most of base metals at the London Metal Exchange slackened domestic demand, and weighed on the aluminium futures prices here.
