British singer Alexandra Burke has gone gaga over Australian cricketer Michael Clarke after meeting him backstage at a TV show, in which they both appeared.
They were taking pictures of each other and chatting away, but failed to swap numbers during their meeting last week, The Sun reported.
“Michael Clarke, thank you for taking a picture with me. I hope that I get to meet you again soon, maybe we can do some seafood in Sydney?,” Burke wrote on her Twitter page.
The ‘X Factor’ winner and Clarke are now planning to meet this week here.
The 29-year-old cricketer has recently broken up with model Lara Bingle.
“Alex was taken off backstage in one direction and Michael in another and they couldn’t find each other afterwards. She was really angry that she’d let him get away – and he wasn’t impressed either,” a source said.
