Naveen Jindal, chairman of Jindal Group and Kurukshetra MP, criticised IndiGo after his daughter’s custom-built wheelchair was returned in a “bent, unusable” condition. Sminu Jindal, who was returning from a fest in Goa, expressed her disappointment on social media and suggested that airlines create a dedicated, protected space on flights for wheelchairs and also sensitise their staff.
