In a shocking incident, world champion powerlifter was killed after getting into an argument with an MMA fighter. World Champion Russian powerlifter Andrey Drachyov was killed by the fighter on the streets of south-west Russia after the two got into a brawl. A CCTV footage of the incident where the MMA fighter is brutally punching Andrey Drachyov has emerged.
The alleged killer MMA fighter has been identified as Anar Allakhveranov. The CCTV footage shows Drachyov getting into a brawl with the MMA fighter. The video captures how Andrey Drachyov exchange punches with the MMA fighter before losing balance and falling down on the ground.
In the footage, Andrey Drachyov is then seen getting up from the ground before again been pinned down and repeatedly punched by the MMA fighter until a security guard from nearby cafe interferes. Unilad citing rt.com has said that the fight broke out after an argument about whose sport was more PHYSICALLY DEMANDING!
RT.com reports that Andrey Drachyov died in hospital after sustaining ‘serious head injuries’ during the fight. The incident, according to the police happened on August 20th in Khabarovsk city, south-west Russia. The police have said that the death was caused due to ‘craniocerebral injury’.
Meanwhile, the alleged killer Anar Allakhveranov is absconding and has been put on the ‘wanted list’.
