Bangalore's UB City, a joint development venture between the UB Group and Prestige Group, has bagged an award in the best 'mixed-use' development category at the Asia Pacific Property Awards.

The event was part of the International Property Awards, a global competition dedicated to finding the best real estate professionals across the globe, a release said on Friday.

Bangalore's UB City is built in one million square feet and is the biggest 'mixed-use' development in the city's Central Business District.

The complex features a mix of commercial offices, a high-end luxury retail shopping space, a piazza comprising a melange of restaurants and serviced residences.

Its high-end luxury destination called 'The Collection' is spread over 1,25,000 square feet and is designed on the lines of a Venetian palazzo comprising more than 40 retail outlets, most of which are international high-end luxury brands and food and beverages outlets, the release said.
