Colors has locked in eight sponsors for Bigg Boss 4, which will be hosted by Salman Khan. A clutch of telecom, insurance, auto and FMCG companies will be the advertising partners for the show. Bigg Boss 4, which will be aired from October 3, is pitted against Sony TV?s Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 with Amitabh Bachchan as its host, and will be aired at the same time. Vodafone is the title sponsor for the show and the other sponsors include General Motors, Suzuki motorcycles, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, LG Infinia TV, and Spice Mobiles.
Media planners say that advertisement revenues of upcoming star-studded reality shows are likely to be 20% higher as compared to the top ten reality shows this year so far.
Reality shows including Master Chef India on Star Plus, Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 on Sony TV and Bigg Boss 4 on Colors will be aired almost at the same time during Diwali.
Amid a flurry of celebrity hosted realty shows where each GEC is trying to rake in a moolah by way of ad revenues, Colors has designed a marketing campaign to attract more eyeballs.

Colors kick-started its on-air initiative with a series of innovative and eye catching promos and also released a special music video with Salman Khan to create hype and excitement around the show. The music video is being played across various platforms.
