With Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leading in 67 seats out of 70 against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters broke into boisterous celebrations with their signature poll tune ‘Paanch Saal Kejriwal’ blaring over loudspeakers.
Every lead projected on the massive LCD screens set up at the party office is being cheered loudly by supporters who are proudly waving the party flags along with the tricolour.
Party chief Arvind Kejriwal reached the office early in the morning and addressed the supporters.
Saluting the people of Delhi for doing a “wonder” in Delhi elections by giving them a landslide victory, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal today asked party workers not to get carried away by the mandate and not become “arrogant”. “You have done a wonder. When you are on the path of truth, all the forces of universe come together to help you. I salute the people of Delhi. It’s a victory of truth,” the 46-year-old former Delhi Chief Minister said in his first reaction to the Delhi poll outcome.

The party is on course to make history as it was ahead in 66 seats out of 70 in the Delhi Assembly.
“I would like to urge all of you not to be arrogant. Otherwise we will meet the same fate five years down the line. We have to serve people of Delhi as they have given such a massive mandate to us and we are grateful to them,” Kejriwal told the cheering crowd of supporters.
Senior party leaders Manish Sisodia, Kumar Vishwas, Yogendra Yadav and Sanjay Singh are also present at the three-storey Patel Nagar office and are appearing in the balcony to address the supporters from time to time.

‘Gulal’ smeared party workers are dancing in abandon as petals are being showered on them from the office terrace by a machine. The party’s celebrity faces such as Raghu Ram are also drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
Inside the office, the party spokespersons are busy giving endless bytes to the large media contingent that has descended on the office.
