The IPL 2025 will have 10 teams- Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Tata is the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL) from 2024 to 2028. Tata Sons has been the IPL’s title sponsor since 2022, paying Rs 670 crore for the two-year rights.

Kolkata Knight Riders won their third IPL title as they faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2024 final of the IPL at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai this Sunday. They won the match by showing a dominant all-round performance. They bundled out SRH for 113, which is the lowest total in the IPL final overall.

Chennai Super Kings tops the chart with most wins in the history of the tournament. The CSK have played 239 games, won 138 and lost 98 games. They have an astounding winning percentage of 58.43.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) have not won the IPL Trophy ever.

The lowest IPL team score is 49. The RCB made it in the 2017 season vs KKR at Eden Gardens and lost the match.

The highest total in the IPL history is 287/3. The mammoth total was made by Sunrisers Hyderabad vs RCB in IPL 2024.

Virat Kohli, former captain of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, is all set to play the Indian Premier League season, leading his team in their pursuit of a maiden title. Kohli, who played a key role in India’s ICC Champions Trophy win, is the second-highest scorer with 218 runs in five matches. Kohli stands as the IPL’s leading run-scorer, having amassed 8,004 runs in 252 matches at an average of 38.66 and a strike rate of 131.97, including eight centuries and 55 half-centuries.
