Aman Gupta, the co-founder of boAt and the ‘Shark’ known for his witty one-liners on Shark Tank India, has finally given fans a peek inside his private world. Alongside his wife, Priya Gupta, Aman welcomed cameras into his lavish Gurgaon residence for a special home tour hosted by Asian Paints. The video, which dropped on YouTube on January 22 as part of the Where The Heart Is series, showcases a space that is as stylish as it is personal.
Inside the open-plan luxury apartment with city views
Living with their two daughters, Miraya and Adaa, the Guptas have opted for a massive open-plan apartment. The home sits high above the city, offering a bird’s-eye view of lush treetops, sculpted gardens, and swimming pools. Aman describes the house as a place “without walls or rules,” where the living, dining, and lounge areas flow into one another.
A minimal, modern design with warm personal touches
The aesthetic is clean and modern, dominated by soft whites, cool greys, and warm walnut wood, all accented by black metal fixtures and large-scale abstract art.
Balcony with a 300-year-old olive tree steals the spotlight
The highlight of the main living area is a floor-to-ceiling glass door that opens onto a sprawling balcony. This outdoor space is a family favourite for evening unwinding and features a 300-year-old olive plant. Staying true to his brand, the home is filled with ‘boAt’ inspired art. One installation, called the ‘boat of abundance,’ overflows with dried red flowers, while another features three framed panels housing hundreds of tiny terracotta boats.
Aman Gupta’s bold, colourful den shows his fun side
While the main areas are calm and sophisticated, Aman’s personal den is where his personality truly shines. Unlike the rest of the house, this room is ‘loud’ and vibrant. It features a dark green brick wall, pop art of famous movie heroes and villains, and a massive collection of tech and audio products. Even more playful is the powder room, which sports a hand-painted tiger wearing Aman’s signature aviator sunglasses against a tropical background.
Despite the luxury, the home remains grounded. The daughters’ rooms and the family den are filled with warmth, featuring pastel colours, cozy bunk beds, and a wall of family photographs. For Aman and Priya, the house is a perfect blend of high-end design and ‘soul-filled’ comfort, reflecting a journey that started with a startup and led to a dream home.
