Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar have rewritten the box office history with Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. The movie is finally slowing down after three weeks of massive success, but the box office numbers it has already achieved are legendary. For the first time ever, a Bollywood movie has managed to net over Rs 1,000 crore right here in India. It’s a massive moment for Indian cinema, proving that the Dhurandhar is officially a gold mine.
Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 21
After twenty days of relentless staying power, the movie finally saw a bit of a dip. On Wednesday, Day 21, the film earned about Rs 7.90 crore net in India, according to early reports from Sacnilk. This brings its daily gross to roughly Rs 9.46 crore. This is the first time the film has dropped below the Rs 10 crore mark since it premiered on March 19. It seems the initial fever is cooling down, especially when you compare it to the first Dhurandhar movie, which was still raking in Rs 25 crore on its 21st day back in 2025.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge becomes the highest-earning film in India
Even with the slight slowdown, the total collections are staggering. As per data by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 has officially netted Rs 1,041.27 crore in India alone. This makes it the highest-earning film the country has ever seen. The first week was a total hurricane, bringing in over Rs 674 crore, followed by a strong second week of Rs 263.65 crore.
As it moves through its third week, it has already added another Rs 103.45 crore to the pile. When you count the gross total (including taxes), the India box office collection sits at a massive Rs 1,246.67 crore.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ entered the top 10 highest-grossing films of 2026 worldwide
It’s not just an Indian success story; the world is watching too. Dhurandhar 2 has officially entered the Top 10 highest-grossing films of 2026 worldwide. As of April 7, it ranks at number 10 globally with over $177 million (roughly Rs 1,653 crore gross). It’s currently chasing the Hollywood animated film GOAT, which has made $185 million.
Outside of China, this is now the biggest Indian hit ever in overseas markets, having already crossed the Rs 400 crore mark internationally. It even became the first Indian film to pass the $25 million mark in its specific region, and trade experts think it will hit $30 million very soon.
Can ‘Dhurandhar 2’ hold the box office against ‘Bhoot Bangla’?
The movie has enjoyed a solo run for nearly a month now. However, that free ride is about to end. In just one week, on April 17, Akshay Kumar’s new horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla is hitting theatres.
This will be the first real test for the Dhurandhar 2 box office to see if it can keep its momentum or if the audience will finally move on to something new. For now, Ranveer Singh is sitting comfortably on his throne as the king of the 2026 box office.
