Telugu film Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, which was released on December 12, 2025 in theatres has done exceptionally well at the Box Office within just 4 days of release. The film which is a sequel to the 2021 movie Akhanda stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty, Harshaali Malhotra, Kabir Duhan Singh and Saswata Chatterjee in key roles.

A fantasy action thriller film, it was released in both 2D and 3D formats and opened to mixed reviews from critics. Yet, despite this, the movie has proved to be a crowd pleaser – managing to cross worldwide collections of Rs 80 crores just over the opening weekend. Let’s take a look at it’s performance on Day 4 since its release.

Box Office collections of Akhanda 2: Thaandavam on Day 4

The NBK-starrer kicked off its Box Office collections on opening day with a massive Rs 22.5 crores – an incredible feat for any movie this year. Notably, the film also had massive pre-bookings which amounted to Rs 8 crores which already spelled a good run for the movie in theatres; high demand usually translates to high footfall.

On Day 4, which fell on a Monday, the film managed to collect Rs 5.35 crores according to rough estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. That collections fell from Rs 22 crores to Rs 5 crores is understandable given that the weekend is over, but the amount collected on Day 4 was no petty amount – in fact, if the momentum continues, the film could be eyeing an effortless Rs 100 crore at the Box Office soon.

With Day 4 collections, the India gross collection – the amount calculated before taxes and deductions – amounted to over Rs 72 crores while the India net collection amounted to Rs 66.45 crores as per Sacnilk. The film also had an impressive overseas earning of Rs 10.6 crores which rounds out the total worldwide collections to over Rs 83 crores. To rake in such massive collections over a period of just 4 days proves it’s appeal among the average movie goer.
