Ayodhya Ram Temple Flag Hoisting: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, hoisted the sacred saffron flag atop the Shikhar of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on Monday, symbolising the completion of the temple’s construction. Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, “There is an unparalleled contentment in the hearts of every devotee of Ram. Immense gratitude and divine joy fill the air. The wounds of centuries are being healed. The pain of centuries is being put to rest today. Today marks the final offering of a yagya that has burned for 500 years. The energy of Lord Ram is now established at the peak of the Grand Ram Temple in the form of this Dharma Dhwaja.”

PM Modi also emphasised the spiritual significance of the flag, saying, “This Dharma Dhwaja is not just a flag. It is the flag of the rejuvenation of Indian civilisation. This flag offers a glimpse of Ram Lalla’s birthplace to devotees everywhere and will convey the inspiration and teachings of Lord Shri Ram for generations to come”.

Adding to it he mentioned that, “For the coming thousands of centuries, this flag will proclaim Lord Ram’s values. Truth is Dharma. There should be no discrimination or pain and there is peace and happiness. There should be no poverty and no one is helpless,” he said.
