Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has announced the launch of the Mahindra ZEO, a new electric four-wheeler, priced at Rs 7.52 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. The name ‘ZEO’, stands for “Zero Emission Option”, and aligns with MLMML’s mission to electrify last-mile transportation. The Mahindra ZEO is available in two variants and is specifically engineered to meet the evolving demands of urban logistics.
The Mahindra ZEO is powered by a 21.3kWh liquid-cooled battery pack that offers a range of 160km. The motor makes 40bhp and 114Nm of torque, while the DC fast charger offers 100km of range in 60 minutes of charging.
Apart from the quick charging possibility, the Mahindra ZEO features a fully digital instrument cluster, a type-C USB charging slot, a dash-mounted gear lever, a creep function, and a turning radius of 4.3 metres. There are different charger configurations available with the Mahindra ZEO, with the on-board 3.3kW unit provided as standard.
On the safety front, the ZEO gets a Driver Monitoring System (DMS) that uses an AI-enabled camera-powered ADAS. It has a suite of features like Lane Departure Warning, Headway Monitoring, Driver Behavioural Analysis, Pedestrian Collision and more functions.
