Good news for startups! Maruti Suzuki-NSRCEL kickstart 4th incubation program

IIM-B backed NSRCEL’s program is in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India, to focus on helping the new startups develop and innovate.

An IIMB (Indian Institute of Management Bangalore) based start-up, NSRCEL, in a business alliance with Maruti Suzuki, has launched its fourth cohort of the Incubation Program for Mobility Startups to focus on nurturing startups that are developing technology-based innovations applicable to the automobile and mobility sectors.

What does the partnership include?

The incubation programme which is of six-months aims to support new startups that are in the proof-of-concept and revenue stages. Through this partnership, IIMB seeks to provide tailored support, and to transform these innovations into profitable businesses. 

By the end of the program, chosen startups will receive incubation support from NSRCEL and the chance to conduct a paid proof of concept (POC) with Maruti Suzuki, allowing them to validate their solutions in a real-world environment. Participants will also gain unique access to the Japanese market, paving the way for international partnerships and expansion, among other rewards.

The main objective of the Incubation Program for Mobility Startups is to introduce innovative technologies and solutions to the market that meet customer needs. The program will focus on innovations in areas such as  Green Manufacturing, Mobility/Mobility infrastructure, vehicle technology, Data & AI, clean tech and  Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the fourth cohort following the success of the previous three, which showcased outstanding startups developing innovative solutions.”

The program is designed to address the specific needs of each participating startup who will receive support on regulatory issues, take part in interactive workshops, engage in shared learning, and explore various business growth opportunities. Moreover, they will have exclusive access to Maruti Suzuki‘s domain experts, resources from IIMB, and valuable connections with investors in the mobility sector.

NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore assists entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures with mentorship, funding, networking, and resources.
