French battery major Forsee Power has appointed Joel Theut as its new Chief Technical and Operations Officer. He joins the Company’s Executive Committee and will lead all operations, innovation, R&D and supply chain activities.
The company says Theut brings to the Group more than 30 years of international experience (United States, United Kingdom, China, and South Korea) in product development, project management, operations, and business development in the automotive and batteries sectors.
Before joining Forsee Power, he was the Vice-President of Operations, Quality and Health Safety Environment (HSE) at Webasto for the Asia-Pacific region. While leading the post-merger integration of a joint venture acquired in South Korea, he was responsible for the establishment, development, industrialisation and launch of several vehicle battery assembly plants in South Korea.
In addition, Theut had the overall responsibility for regional operations, quality, health and safety, including the construction and ramp-up of other industrial sites in China, Japan, South Korea, in India and Thailand.
