L&T-Cloudfiniti partners with QpiAI; aims to accelerate quantum computing innovation

L&T-Cloudfiniti, a data center company, has entered into a partnership with Bengaluru-based deep-tech firm QpiAI. This collaboration aims to accelerate quantum computing workloads, including Quantum Computing as a Service (QCAAS) and facilitate the scalable deployment of quantum solutions across various sectors, according to an official press release.

The two companies will also explore joint initiatives under India’s National Quantum Mission. QpiAI, known for developing Indus—India’s most powerful 25-qubit quantum computer—plans to soon roll out a 256-qubit system, followed by a fault-tolerant quantum computer featuring 100 logical qubits. These advancements are expected to unlock large-scale commercial applications of quantum technology, the release mentioned.

“This collaboration will leverage our cloud infrastructure to host and execute quantum algorithms, enabling scalable deployment of quantum solutions across domains. Together, we aim to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to our customers and enhance operational efficiency,” Seema Ambastha, Chief Executive, L&T Cloudfiniti, said.
