Ashish Agrawal is an independent columnist and founder of the portal “India, Economy & Business”.
He has also authored a book analysing current developments in the Indian economy: “Indian Economy & Business – Overview of Recent Trends & Events.”
He has keen interest in domestic as well as international economic developments as also core sectors such as Metals & Mining, Power, Oil & Gas etc. Ashish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and a post graduate diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta. His experience extends across business research & writing, financial modelling & consulting, enterprise risk management and on the shop floor before MBA. Ashish had developed a Risk exposure index during his stint as a part of Enterprise Risk Management to consolidate all the risks being faced by an organization and monitor them more scientifically; called an “Excellent Proposal” by the independent director.
