Malayalam actress Bhavana is trending on social media after news broke out last evening that she has got engaged to Kannada film producer Naveen in Kochi. It was an unexpected update but across the world, happy Malayalis are talking about this development and wishing the newly engaged couple the ‘very best’ for their marriage.
As per local news reports, actress Bhavana made it clear that she plans to tie the knot this year itself. The actress stated that she had known Naveen for about five years and he had been the producer of her first Kannada film.
She spoke to Mathrubhumi.com and stated that she did not want to publicise the engagement and therefore, conducted it as a private, closed function at home. The engagement was held at her home with close family members and the actress stated that she informed her friends about it and planned to announce it to the public later.
Her closest friends actor Anoop Menon and actress Manju Warrier were present at the engagement ceremony.

Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran congratulated the newly engaged couple on Facebook, stating: “Congrats to the newly engaged couple! Naveen & Bhavana.”
Actor Anoop Menon also put out a Facebook post, congratulating the newly engaged couple Bhavana and Naveen, stating:
“No two ways about it ,the best couple in recent times..so happy for dearest Bhavna and Naveen…and for those who don’t know him in person, he is a gem…wishing them a great life ahead..”
