Kapil Sharma, a renowned Indian comedian and TV host, was born on April 2, 1981 in Amritsar, Punjab. Despite facing initial rejection, he gained fame after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007. His own show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, became the top-rated comedy show on Indian TV from 2013 to 2016.
