Captain America, Chris Evans went on Twitter to express his disappointment as American voters chose ‘hate monger’ Donald Trump as their new President. Trump, who is gaining an unassailable lead over Democrat Hillary Clinton is almost assured to succeed Barack Obama in the White House. While, the polls throughout in campaign mostly showed Trump trailing behind Clinton, especially over his sexist ‘grabbing’ comments, Hillary email scandal opened up by the FBI just a week before the elections seems to have turned the tide in the Blonde billionaire’s favour.

Trump, who had started his campaign by promising to build a wall on the Mexico border to stop illegal immigration, went on making personal comments against his opponents was found sniffing around, uttering words like ‘brilliant’ and ‘beautiful’ throughout the 3 Presidential debates. Trump has managed to woo the American majority despite all his antiques. It may not be wrong to say that it was Hillary’s image in the public following the private emails and the dropping out of Bernie Sanders and the scandals revolving around it paved the path for Trump’s win.

However, the fact of the matter is that Donald Trump is now the most powerful man of the free world. And that seems to have made Chris Evans devastated. Just as the polls are about to close and Trump victory is almost assured, Evans spoke through Twitter and said that it was an embarrassing night for America. He called Trump a hatemonger and bully and expressed his sadness that the American people had let him win.
