Hrithik Roshan, known for cult classics like Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai and Krrish, turned 52 today. Extending early birthday wishes, his former father-in-law, Sanjay Khan, shared several incidents where the actor’s “sincere confidence” left him impressed—even before Roshan joined the family.

Sanjay Khan also added that the couple’s divorce was ‘graceful’ and ‘never bitter’.

Roshan, known for his extremely healthy lifestyle, fitness routine, and groovy dance moves, is also the richest star kid of Bollywood. With an estimated net worth of nearly Rs 3000 crore, as per Forbes, Roshan heads his lifestyle brand HRX. Based on recent reports and social media speculations, he is dating Bollywood actor Saba Azad. They were spotted at a wedding in late 2025, where Roshan shared a viral on-stage moment with his sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan, as the Internet called them his ‘rightful heirs’.

‘Little did I know he would marry my daughter’

In his birthday greeting for Roshan, Khan recalled the first time he met the movie star. Introduced to him by his son, Zayed, the Main Hoon Na star claimed that Hrithik Roshan would be the ideal person to ask for bicycle advice. Sanjay Khan wrote, “Back then, I needed a new bicycle for my morning rides and casually mentioned it to Zayed. With a grin, he replied, ‘Hrithik’s your guy for advice on that.’

It was then that Roshan lived up to his image. He visited Sanjay Khan that morning and even explained him the latest details. Praising his insight, his former father-in-law wrote, “His explanations were crystal clear, precise, and delivered with a quiet, sincere confidence that left me impressed. Little did I know this young man would one day marry my daughter Sussanne and join our family.”

Khan then recalled an incident wherein he sought Hrithik’s advice just after he finished constructing a property in Bengaluru. He shared that he turned to Roshan for advice, as suggested by his wife, Zarine. Khan praised him to be a “disciplined professional beneath the stardom: focused, respectful, and eager for insights. He’d seek my thoughts on film life, listening intently with those sharp, absorbing eyes.”

Addressing the amicable separation, Sanjay Khan shared that his daughter Susanne gifted Roshan his ‘two aces of spades’ – referring to his grandsons during their marriage, which ended on a ‘graceful’ note. Praising Roshan for his contribution to the industry, he wrote, “His success stems from unwavering dedication and craft. Today, Hrithik stands as one of Bollywood’s finest—actor, star, and eternal student of his art.”
