IAS officer Dharmendra appointed as Delhi’s new Chief Secretary

This change comes following Govind Mohan's recent appointment as Union Home Secretary.

Senior IAS officer Dharmendra, who has been serving as the Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh since April 2022, has been appointed as Delhi’s new Chief Secretary.

This change comes following Govind Mohan’s recent appointment as Union Home Secretary. Dharmendra takes over from Naresh Kumar, a 1987-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, whose tenure as Delhi’s Chief Secretary was extended twice by the Centre and concludes today.
