Macquarie says Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel now offer different investment opportunities. While Jio is entering a cash flow-driven growth phase after completing most of its network rollout, Airtel continues to lead in returns, capital efficiency and monetisation. The brokerage expects both operators to benefit from tariff hikes, rising data usage and India’s expanding digital infrastructure.
