A superb innings from opener Shikhar Dhawan, well supported by skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday scripted India’s clinical win over host Sri Lanka at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Indian captain said that chasing would be a better option. As expected, Ajinkya Rahane missed out the game. The hosts got off to a great start with the openers adding 74 runs for the first wicket but Indian spinners pulled things back. India bundled out Sri Lanka for 216, chasing down the target of 217 with as many as 127 balls to spare.
