Narendra Modi in Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Gujarat on a two-day visit, will arrive in Vadnagar today.

Narendra Modi in Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Gujarat on a two-day visit, will arrive in Vadnagar today. This will be PM Modi’s maiden visit to his hometown after assuming his office as the Prime Minister. Stating that his visit will bring back several memories from his childhood, Prime Minsiter Modi added that he look forward to visiting Vadnagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted saying, ” I look forward to visiting Vadnagar, my hometown tomorrow morning. This visit will bring back several memories from my childhood.” In a series of tweets, PM Modi briefed about his visit to Vadnagar.

PM Modi will launch the Intensified Mission Indradhanush at a public meeting which will accelerate progress towards the goal of full immunization coverage. He will also distribute e-tablets to health workers to mark the launch of ImTeCHO.

According to ANI, The ImTeCHO is an innovative mobile phone application to improve performance of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) workers through better supervision, support and motivation for increasing coverage of proven maternal, newborn and child health interventions among resource-poor settings in India.

He will also arrive in Bharuch on the same day whre he will lay the foundation stone for Bhadbhut Barrage which is to be built over the Narmada River. He will further flag off the Antyodaya Express between Udhna (Surat, Gujarat), and Jaynagar (Bihar). PM will unveil plaques to mark the laying of foundation stone.
