Delhi Waqaf Board Chiarman and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Okhla, Amantullah Khan has resigned from all posts. The legislator had earlier charged congress leader and former Waqaf Board Chiarman Haroon Yusuf of ‘corruption and criminal misconduct’ and sought Anti-Corruption Branch enquiry against him.
The MLA has intimated Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal about his resignation from all posts. In his letter he has written that he wants to serve the people of Delhi but that there are people who are not liking his honesty and deidcation.

In his letter he mentions that he and his family has been falsely implicated in various cases and that he is tired of explaining it to the public, news agency ANI reports.

It is worth mentioning here that Amantullah Khan was arrested on July 24 after a complaint received from a 35 year old woman of harassing her. Later, on July 29 he was released on bail after furnishing a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
Meanwhile Amanatullah’s sister-in-law has filed a complaint of eve teasing at Jamia Nagar police station, reports ANI.
