It’s been a volatile session for the markets. The Nifty recovered over 270 points from the day’s low while the Sensex rebounded 900 points from intra-day lows. Though the Indices are again trending lower, here is a quick look at some of the stocks that helped the uptrend in late trade.
In the Nifty 50, the gains were led by Larsen & Toubro which went up as much as 1.86% to the day’s high of Rs 3,300. It was followed by the share price of Bharti Airtel which was up 2.3%, UltraTech Cements, Bajaj Finserv 3.2%, SBI Life 3.38%, and other stocks.
In the Sensex, the share prices of Bajaj Finserv 2.14%, UltraTech Cement 1.7%, Tata Steel 1.54%, L&T 1.38%, HUL 0.7%, and other companies helped the index to revive.
However, out of the total shares traded on the NSE i.e. 2,857 scrips, a total of 1,899 shares were trading in the red around 2:50 PM and a mere 875 were in the green.
