Vascon Engineers saw a sharp 14% jump in early trade. Apollo Micro Systems surged nearly 5% intraday. Hindustan Copper share price surged nearly 4% in intraday trading session. Among laggards, HUL slipped over 2% in Monday’s trade.

Transport stocks led the way in today’s market action, rising 3.5% and topping the sectoral charts. The non-ferrous metals space also saw strong traction, climbing 2.5%. Beverages (non-alcoholic) gained 1.6%, while the gems and jewellery sector added 1.51%.
