The broader market saw several action-packed moves during the session. Vodafone Idea shares soared nearly 10% in early trade, marking a fresh one-year high, after the Supreme Court allowed the Centre to revisit AGR dues, a development that lifted sentiment for the debt-laden telecom player.
Coforge jumped around 6% intraday on strong quarterly earnings, while Hatsun Agro Product hit the 20% upper circuit.
Meanwhile, SBI Life Insurance remained firm throughout the session, extending its recent gains amid strong sectoral cues.

Adani Group firms Adani Green Energy and Adani Total Gas are set to announce their Q2 results on Tuesday, October 28. The day will also see earnings updates from IT players like Happiest Minds Technologies and Newgen Software Technologies, along with auto major TVS Motor. Among other key companies declaring their results are Blue Dart Express, Jindal Steel & Power, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Shree Cement, and TTK Prestige.
